1/ Dry residues

The BEV standard establishes that a good proportion of dry residues in water is < 120 mg/L (this is the case for water of granitic or volcanic origin which is slightly mineralized). The legal standard is < 1.500 mg/L, the WHO standard is < 150 mg/L and the commonly allowed standard is < 350 mg/L, especially when the minerals are restructured (evacuation of the non-absorbable minerals), and revitalized (presence of bio-photons)   The content of dry residues, composed of dissolved and non-dissolved solids in water, is obtained after evaporation at 180°C; This measurement is completely different from the TDS measurement which measures only the dissolved solids 

2/ TDS Measure (Total Dissolved Solids) (measured the 13.11.2014 in Rhode St. Genèse)

  • Water meter: 368 mg/L
  • After filtration by Aquaphor Viking Maxi ®: 351 mg/L
  • These rates of dissolved solids are completely acceptable if they are restructured and dynamized (see about this the Bioelectronic study (LC Vincent) related to the urinary resistivity!)! Indeed, the TDS device measures the dissolved solids (mineral, salts or metals) in water (at its ambient temperature +/-16°C).The device consequently gives an indication regarding:
    • the electric conductivity of water (measures the capacity of water to conduct an electric current, therefore an indirect measurement of its ion content ); According to the BEV the conductivity should be between 10-200 µS/cm micro Siemens, between 200-850 µS/cm it is acceptable and > 2.100 µS/cm (legal standard) it is considered as not being very drinkable. The conductivity of water increases or decreases proportionally with the contents of the dissolved substances. A high conductivity is an indication that there is more dissolved limestone in water which prevents it from settling in the pipes! Conductivity is not bad in itself!
    • Measures of conductivity in tap water (private microbiologic analyses of 08.09.2014): 621 µS/cm-1
    • Measure of the conductivity of filtered (Aquaphor) & restructured & dynamized water: 623 µS/cm-1
    • the hardness (its content of minerals mainly limestone)
    • this device does not measure the dry residues! To obtain this a microbiologic study should be carried out
